Position Overview
King School is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to serve as Middle School Head (Grades 6–8). This leader will guide the Middle School through its next chapter—strengthening academic programs, cultivating student life, and promoting faculty collaboration and innovation. The Middle School Head will also partner closely with Upper and Lower School leaders to ensure curricular coherence and an aligned culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead academic vision, curriculum development, and instructional excellence in Grades 6–8
- Oversee faculty recruitment, professional growth, and evaluation
- Foster a supportive, collaborative Middle School community (students, parents, staff)
- Partner with the Head of School and the leadership team on strategic initiatives and school-wide goals
- Manage budget, scheduling, student affairs, and communications for the Middle School
- Serve as an on-campus presence in student life and culture-building activities
Ideal Candidate Profile
