Vikings Advance in Postseason Play

It’s been a week full of momentum and milestones for King Athletics. The Volleyball team continues its dominant run into the FAA Championship, Field Hockey battled deep into the postseason, and one Viking earned national MVP honors, a testament to the hard work and competitive spirit seen across our teams this fall.

Noteworthy shout-out to senior outside hitter Emily McKee as she reached the major career milestone of 1000 kills on Monday this week in the first round of the FAA tournament against Holy Child! King has yet to drop a set in the playoffs, with a 3-0 sweep of Holy Child on Monday, and a dominating 3-0 performance on Wednesday in the semi-finals against Greenwich Country Day School! #VikingsShowUp

Field Hockey — FAA Semifinal Recap & NEPSAC Preview
Field Hockey traveled to top-seeded Greenwich Academy on Wednesday for the FAA Semifinals and gave the home team all they could handle in a hard-fought 2-0 loss. The Vikings trailed just 1-0 at halftime and kept the pressure on until the final horn.

Congratulations to the team on an outstanding performance and for making their mark on the program this season! The Vikings will now await the NEPSAC Tournament seedings, which will be released this Sunday. The first round of the New England Tournament is set for Wednesday, November 12.

Congratulations to Emma Cordulack ’27!

Emma was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the 2025 Allstate Sueño Alianza National Showcase at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida! 

After months of nationwide tryouts, Emma stood out among 64 top soccer players, earning the most invitations from professional teams at the showcase. A true leader on and off the field, Emma represents the best of King Athletics: talent, dedication, and sportsmanship. The future is bright!
