Boys Basketball Advances to NEPSAC Semis on Last-second Shot!
Congratulations to King Boys Basketball as they used a furious second-half comeback and an incredible play in the final seconds to defeat Beaver Country Day School (MA) 66-65! Trailing 65-62 with only seconds remaining in the game, Senior Julian (Juju) Dent made a miraculous three-pointer from the top of the key with 1.3 seconds left to tie the game, and was fouled on the shot, giving him a chance to try to put the Vikings up for the first time in the game. Juju calmly stepped to the line and nailed the free-throw, earning King the thrilling victory and sending the boys on to the NEPSAC Class B Small semifinals tomorrow at Holderness School (NH). The game is set for a 2:00 p.m. tip, and the livestream link is available here.
