Stamford Bus Service
Dear Stamford Families,
As a Stamford resident, school bus transportation is provided for your child/children from Kindergarten-Grade 12, to and from King by the Stamford Board of Education. Please note that the buses, which service King, carry only our students in them. If you are interested in arranging a “bus buddy” for your young child, please reach out to the Lower School office at (203) 322-3496 Ext. 1310.
If you are a Stamford resident, please download and complete the form below from the Stamford Board of Education Department, and return it to the Business Office by May 15. You may fill out the form electronically and email it to Susan Handler at shandler@kingschoolct.org, or you may fill it out manually and mail to Susan Handler in the Simon House.
The forms go to the Board of Education in early June. The Board then schedules the routes over the summer and First Student Bus Company provides the buses and the drivers. King does NOT have any control over routes or specific pick-up stops. If you have special questions and/or requests for the bus schedule, please indicate them on the “Special Instructions” box on the form.
