Reporting to the CFOO, the Director of Campus Operations provides leadership, supervision, and support of the School's facilities and operations functions.  This individual works closely with numerous internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for the effective management of all buildings, grounds, athletic fields, maintenance programs, and capital repair and renewal projects.  The Director will function in a collaborative manner working alongside the staff on a daily basis serving not only as a mentor but as a contributing team member to create and maintain a welcoming campus environment that reflects a commitment to quality, safety and accessibility.  A primary goal of the Department is to strive for continuous improvement and innovation in facilities and grounds management.

King School is looking for qualified applicants with high school, college or club volleyball coaching and playing experience for the Varsity Head Coach position of the highly competitive Girls Volleyball Team. Highly motivated candidates possessing strong leadership and communication skills are encouraged to apply. The Head Coach will have responsibility for all aspects of the program, including mentorship and oversight of the assistant and JV coaches, and be the face of King Girls Volleyball, providing leadership in the ongoing development, growth, and improvement of the program from grades 6-12. The Head Coach will execute effective teaching and coaching techniques to help the athletes optimize their athletic skill, acumen and attitude, and be expected to build upon the success of the program. King Girls Volleyball has captured five straight, and seven out of nine, Class B and Class C New England Prep School Athletic Council championships. The Head Coach will also constructively collaborate with students and adults in a positive spirit; display and promote sportsmanship and citizenship; and demonstrate a commitment to King’s Virtues and Diversity Policy. The Head Coach will be expected to uphold and promote the mission and philosophy of the King School and the Athletics Department, while following the rules set forth by the Fairchester Athletic Association and the NEPSAC.

King seeks a full-time Learning Specialist for grades 9 through 12. The Learning Specialist will work directly with students to support academic progress across the curriculum including literacy, mathematics, science, and world language. Additionally, they will provide coaching in time management, organizational strategies, and test preparation. They will help faculty and parents understand diverse learning needs, manage accommodations and learning plans, and update and maintain students' documentation and records accordingly. The Learning Specialist will report directly to the Associate Head of School for Program and Upper School and the Upper School Director for Teaching and Learning.

The Director of Information Technology directly manages the day-to-day operations and technical staff of the Information Technology department, including but not limited to developing and managing physical and logical security for the network infrastructure and data.  The Director of Information Technology will research, make recommendations, install, develop and maintain all necessary hardware, software services as well as other technologies to ensure a high-performing network and technology infrastructure. The position strives to maintain a high level of internal customer satisfaction and support by monitoring the help desk and maintaining an inventory to ensure the department provides and manages corrective, proactive, and preventative maintenance for all school-wide resources.  This position works closely with the Director of Technology Integration and Innovation to properly disburse funding for purchases and equipment and install, help develop, document, train and maintain school-wide network resources.

The Library/Learning Commons & Technology Specialist provides teachers and students with a media center environment containing a wide variety and range of materials that will challenge intellectual growth, and aid students in acquiring the skills needed to take full advantage of media center resources.  As part of the library media program this position will focus on technology skills development based on the AASL (American Association of School Librarians) and ISTE (International Society on Technology & Education) standards to ensure students gain the foundational skills needed to succeed in the Middle and Upper school programs and beyond. This position will play a large role in King's commitment to becoming a premier research institution. The belief that students should be able to think, create, share and grow will be the primary focus and core of the instruction in our Lower School library media program.

This position will play a large role in King's commitment to becoming a premier research institution. The Library/Learning Commons Specialist provides teachers and students with a media center environment containing a wide variety and range of materials that will challenge intellectual growth, and aid all students in acquiring the skills needed to take full advantage of media center resources. The Library/Learning Commons Specialist will collaborate with Middle and Upper School leadership to provide day to day supervision of the Learning Commons and divisional alignment.  The position  serves under the direction of the Director of Technology Integration and Innovation, who will provide school-wide coordination, department management, and yearly thematic program alignment in support of this position's effectiveness.
