This teacher will assume duties and responsibilities, consistent with expectations for all Middle School teachers, which consists of the primary teaching load of four sections and one activity.

King School is looking to fill role of multi-season coach for the 2019-20 school year. This position will have an opportunity to coach in our Middle (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) athletic programs and to take on leadership responsibilities for as many as six different teams throughout the year. Highly motivated candidates possessing strong leadership and communication skills, along with a background in coaching and/or teaching, are encouraged to apply.

Assistant coaches will support the Girls and Boys Program Head Coaches in all aspects of the King Crew program, including setting lineups, running practices and workouts on and off the water, and developing competitive athletes. The assistant coaches will also be expected to uphold and promote the mission and philosophy of the King School and the Athletic Department, while following the rules set forth by the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Successful candidates will also have the proven ability to constructively collaborate with both adults and children in a positive spirit.
