Anya Anderson ’25 Qualifies for Nike Indoor Track Nationals!

Track standout Anya Anderson ’25 qualified for the Nike Indoor Track Nationals this winter in the 55-meter dash! Anya will compete at the prestigious event this weekend at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York City and is one of just 88 athletes from across the country to qualify. Congratulations to Anya, and good luck this weekend!

Owen Tucker ’24 Named National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award Finalist!

King Football senior captain Owen Tucker ’24 has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award. Owen, who has committed to play football at Denison University next year, is not only a very strong athlete, receiving first team all-conference recognition this past fall, but is also an outstanding student. 

Varsity Football Head Coach Tom Broschardt shared some of Owen’s special qualities Owen.

“He is an amazing leader whose impact stretches far beyond the classroom and the football field,” Broschardt said. “I cannot wait to see what the future holds for him at Denison.”

Owen shared his gratitude for being listed with other deserving nominees. 

“I am honored to be recognized, along with the other scholar-athletes, by the National Football Foundation,” Owen said. “I am looking forward to the event in April, and I could not have done it without my coaches and teammates.”
