Beautiful weather set the tone for a vibrant start to the 2024-25 academic year at King School on Tuesday, September 5. Sunny skies prevailed throughout the week as students, faculty, and staff reunited for a year of learning and growth.
During opening assemblies, Head of School Carol Maoz and Division Heads emphasized the importance of the King community and its shared values, highlighting this year’s theme, “Making Connections.” Across campus, from bustling classrooms to energetic athletic fields and lively lunch gatherings, students reconnected with old friends and formed new bonds with classmates.
Students new to King had an additional opportunity to connect with peers, meet their teachers, explore the King campus, and get a head start on their schedules at the new student orientation on Thursday, August 29, before the start of school.
In the Upper School, seniors enjoyed special recognition as they embarked on their final year as students at King during a pizza party, car decorating celebration, and the annual Ringing of the Bells assembly.
Welcome back, Vikings! We're excited for a year fueled by wonder and strengthened by connections!
