King Athletics celebrated a historic spring season this week as Girls Golf, Girls Tennis, and Boys Tennis each captured championship titles, highlighting one of the most successful stretches in recent Viking history.

Girls Golf completed an undefeated FAA regular season to secure the league title and cap off a remarkable spring campaign. Girls Tennis continued its dominant run by earning a third consecutive NEPSAC championship after defeating Pomfret School in the finals on Sunday. Boys Tennis also made program history, capturing its first-ever New England title with a thrilling championship victory over Concord Academy.

King Track & Field athletes also delivered impressive performances over the weekend at the New England Prep School Track Association Division III Championship Meet at Marianapolis Prep School in Thompson, Connecticut.

Senior Julian Dent, Jr. added a New England championship in the high jump to his FAA title from the previous week, while Aniya Garcia ’29 continued her strong debut season by finishing second in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 96-03. The Boys 4x100 relay team of Julian, Mason Hauben ’27, Will Fottrell ’29, and Myles Gadson ’28 also broke a school record, posting a time of 46.11 seconds to place eighth overall.
