As we head into Homecoming weekend, we would like to give a special shoutout to our women athletes. King is a partner of the national Under Armour and BSN Sports Women of Will (WoW), which empowers schools and coaches across the country with performance solutions and a robust female athletics support system. The goal is to help change lives and inspire the next generation of women to strive for greatness.

Our WoW fall teams continue to roll with Volleyball standing at 9-0, Girls Soccer coming off back-to-back FAA league road wins over Hopkins (for the first time in 10 years!) and Rye Country Day School, and Field Hockey taking down rival St. Luke’s 2-0 on Thursday! The Red and Blue JV Volleyball teams also earned wins this week, and JV Girls Soccer had their first game action of the year.

Seven of the teams will take to the courts and fields tomorrow on Homecoming! Come out to support the Vikings with JV Blue Volleyball setting things off at 9:30 a.m., Girls Cross Country and JV Girls Soccer going off at 10:00 a.m., JV Red Volleyball at 11:00 a.m., Varsity Field Hockey at 12:30 p.m., Varsity Volleyball at 1:00 p.m., and Varsity Girls Soccer at 2:30 p.m. 

Cross Country and Crew will celebrate their senior days at Homecoming as well, and the crew teams will be in action next weekend at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. King will be racing two boats in the world's largest three-day regatta, with over 11,000 other competitors! King was fortunate to gain entry through the event’s lottery system for a women's youth coxed quad and a men's youth 8. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the athletes of this growing program. 

Our Lower School super fans have also been out to games to root on the Vikings to victory, and we are excited to see the Lower School pep squad in action today at the Pep Rally and at halftime of the football game tomorrow.
