Varsity Field Hockey

Big wins and playoffs are set for the Vikings as the fall season nears its close. This week, read highlights from our seven fall varsity programs, including recent crew and football wins, volleyball’s undefeated streak, and FAA seed rankings.

Congratulations to the Boys Novice quad boat of Spencer Neckritz ’24, Zach Lew ’24, Grant Dietz ’24, and Jayden Grayson ’25, who won their race at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia last weekend!

Congratulations to Lucas Rodrigues ’23, who earned Cross Country All-League status with his 10th-place finish at the FAA Championships on Monday!

Football

Varsity Football
With a 28-6 win over The Dalton School on Saturday, the Vikings advance to a MIFL Bowl Playoff semi-final this Friday, November 4, at Riverdale Country School at 2:30 p.m. The winner moves on to the MIFL Bowl Playoff championship game on Sunday, November 13, at Brunswick School.

Varsity Volleyball
Riding a 15-game win streak with an undefeated record, the Vikings earned the top seed in the FAA playoffs and will host 8-seed The Masters School in a league quarter-final on Monday, November 7, in the Upper School Gym at 5:15 p.m. With a win, King will host a semi-final on Wednesday, November 9, at 5:15 p.m.

 

Varsity Boys Soccer 
Having earned the 6 seed in the FAA playoffs, Varsity Boys Soccer will travel to take on the 3-seed Hopkins School on Monday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m.

Varsity Girls Soccer
The 7-seed Varsity Girls Soccer team will travel to take on the 2 seed, which will be determined tonight, on Tuesday, November 8, at 1:30 p.m. 

Varsity Field Hockey 
After a thrilling 1-0 win over St. Luke’s School on Wednesday, November 2, Varsity Field Hockey will wrap up their regular season with Senior Day at home on Saturday, November 5 at 2:30 p.m. against The Frederick Gunn School. New England tournament qualification and seedings will be released next weekend.
