Using that momentum, the squad took to the field for the first regular season fall event for all the Vikings teams and came away with a thrilling 1-1 draw against perennial NEPSAC powerhouse South Kent School! With just over 7 minutes remaining in the game, Elliott Miller '24 found the back of the net on a rocket shot from distance on a beautiful feed from Ignacio Silvani '24. They will look to build from here as they take on a very strong early season slate of opponents with a game at The MacDuffie School on Saturday, September 9, and against Brunswick School on Monday, September 11.
Varsity Girls Soccer

Varsity Field Hockey
Field hockey had a very strong preseason, earning wins in both scrimmages, a 3-0 victory over Hackley, and a tremendous 3-2 victory over St. Joseph High School, including a hat trick and highlight reel, top-10 goal by Jordyn Ennis '26! The team also enjoyed a successful jamboree facing off against many local rivals, compiling a 5-2 record on a busy day at New Milford High School. While the first game of the season was postponed due to the heatwave this week, the Vikings will open up their regular season on Wednesday, September 13, against Hamden Hall at 4:15 p.m. on the Armstrong and King Family Fields middle turf.
