This committee seeks to support and encourage King’s culture of civility and respect. We are a group of parents interested in deepening our understanding and appreciation of one another and our varied backgrounds and interests. We collaborate with one another as well as the Director of Diversity to provide programs of interest and provide opportunities for open conversation.
The Sunshine Committee is available to send, on behalf of the King Parents’ Association, messages of support along with flowers and/or gift baskets to individuals and families who are facing challenges or difficult times. Anyone can submit a request for Sunshine Committee outreach. Requests will be handled discretely as needed.

The PA Parenting Speaker Series seeks to provide a forum to support one another in our shared endeavor of raising responsible children by presenting relevant speakers and opportunities for discussion. Below is a list of recent speakers and the issues they discussed relevant to raising children in a rapidly changing world.
The School Store sells King apparel, Viking apparel (required physical education uniforms), and spirit items. It is staffed by PA volunteers and is located on the main floor of the LS in the south corridor.
The parent-run Uniform Exchange collects new and gently used uniform clothing across all three divisions for the reuse of our King families. Gently used dress code clothing may be dropped in boxes labeled Uniform Exchange in the lobbies of all three divisions. Please note we do not take athletic clothes or any “King” gear.
The Exchange is organized by parent volunteers. Learn More
