THANK YOU!!

Homecoming Spirit Week was such a success! Thank you to all our students, parents and staffulty for getting involved and making the week so much fun!

King Cares Virtual 5K

Viking pride was very evident last week during the 8th annual King Cares 5K. Although virtual, over 140 students, families, staffulty and alumni registered to walk, bike or run, earning points for their Blue or Gold teams, and helping King more than double its 500 miles fitness goal by covering 1,097 miles.

Athletes from all of the fall sports teams participated in this annual event with members of the crew team rowing a 5K last Friday. Special shout out also goes to the members of the cross country team, field hockey team and girls and boys soccer teams for recording 161.5 miles towards the fitness goal. The girls soccer team will continue to show off their Viking pride and passion for using their interest and skills to help others by running a Soccer Tennis tournament for teams of US students on November 1, with all proceeds supporting the Orphaned Starfish Foundation.

Participation in the 5K and contributions from donors, which will benefit the Orphaned Starfish Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, truly exemplify the level of community engagement that exists at King and the commitment of its members to make a difference in others' lives. A very big thank you to all of the members of the community for their participation and generosity in support of these wonderful partner organizations.
