Congratulations to student-athlete standout Riley Hicks '19 for being named a 2018 Positive Coaching Alliance Triple Impact Competitor Scholarship winner. Riley joins other high school athletes and scholarship winners from the New York area, along with winners from the New England, Houston, Minnesota, North Texas, Portland, Sacramento, and the Mid-Atlantic regions, who are all being recognized for their positive contributions making themselves better, making their teammates better, and making the sports they play better.
According to the PCA website: "A Triple-Impact Competitor is an athlete who works to improve oneself, teammates, and the game as a whole. These individuals play a special role in Positive Coaching Alliance's mission to turn high school and youth sports into a Development ZoneTM, developing better athletes and better people."
A three-sport athlete in field hockey, squash, and lacrosse and active in community outreach with Harlem Lacrosse, Riley will be attending Duke University next fall.
