King School celebrates the outstanding achievements of its fall athletes, who have earned prestigious recognition in the 2024 Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) and New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) postseason awards. The awards include league and all-star team selections across multiple sports, showcasing the strength of King’s athletic programs. Congratulations to all honorees—you make the Viking community proud!

King Volleyball won its first-ever NEPSAC Class A title with a 3-0 sweep of Phillips Exeter Academy! The match, played at Taft School in Watertown on November 12, concluded another incredible season for the Vikings. The Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) champion Vikings stayed perfect on the year at 21-0 and earned an incredible 9th straight New England Title across Class A, B, and C! 

King School athletes continue to shine as the NEPSAC tournament season heats up. Girls Volleyball swept Hotchkiss in their Class A debut and will host Choate in the semifinals on Saturday, while Field Hockey fought valiantly in their Class C quarterfinal but fell in overtime. Seniors Anya Anderson and Caroline Ellis celebrated NCAA Division I signings, with Anya also starring in the Western New England All-Star game alongside Emma Cordulack '27. Quarterback Freddy Melton '26 reached an incredible milestone of 5,000 career passing yards. As winter sports kick off, Boys and Girls Basketball, Ice Hockey, and Squash teams are ready for an exciting season. Meanwhile, alumni like Norah Shattan '22 at West Point and Jeremy Cooke '22 on Suffolk Soccer continue to excel, showcasing the enduring impact of King Athletics.
