It was an impressive finish to the Fall Athletics season for the King School Varsity Volleyball team who defeated #1 seed Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in a 3-0 sweep to become the 2021 NEPSAC Class B Volleyball Champions.
King School senior Billy Bennett has been outrunning the cross country competition since he arrived at King five years ago, but this year, he says, has been special. Billy recently took part in a Q&A where he discussed his experiences running with the King cross country team, the importance of camaraderie with teammates and coaches, and his aim to finish the season strong at the upcoming New England Championships.
In her 12th year at King, Bonnie has not only helped students, coaches, and individual teams each season establish and maintain healthy habits in the weight room, with conditioning, nutrition, wellness, and stressing the importance of getting enough sleep, but she's also set a standard for success for the King Athletics Department thanks to her care and leadership.

Paddle tennis, basketball, field hockey, soccer, beach volleyball, creative movement, and more! Grade 7 student Jackson Dooley feels "the differentiation has been the best. There are so many sessions, that our choices and variety allow us to try new things and to still be with our classmates. It's great to still have Athletics during such difficult times."
