Congratulations to our US Students on a tremendous production of 'Into the Woods'

Our US students presented 'Into the Woods' last weekend and it was a wonderful production which featured over 40 of our US students and a 16-piece professional orchestra. 'Into The Woods' is the Tony Award-winning musical by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

"The tremendous growth and achievement as actors and singers is a lasting reward for everyone involved. This play has a profound impact on the audience and the artists and I can confirm that many tears were shed, tears of joy and tears of sorrow, during our journey through the woods," said Mark Silence, Director and Performing Arts Faculty.
