Online Learning Programs
King School offers online learning courses where students can take classes of interest that are outside of our current offerings.
These programs help to extend our curriculum and provide students with over 100 courses.This is a great opportunity for students who want go deeper or broader in a particular subject.
Global Online Academy
Global Online Academy's (GOA) mission is to reimagine learning to empower students and educators to thrive in a globally networked society. GOA classes are mostly asynchronous: teachers design the coursework and calendar, and students work on their own schedules, gaining important independent learning skills along the way. GOA classes are small. Students work with a caring, expert teacher from a member school and get to know and collaborate with peers from around the world.
One Schoolhouse
One Schoolhouse’s in-depth, online courses prioritize connection, collaboration, and community. Students engage with expert teachers and peers around the globe—building academic maturity and an expanded worldview. Academic Program courses create learning environments where students feel seen, valued, and respected—making them more likely to challenge themselves and reach new levels of success.
We believe in-person instruction provides students with opportunities to work with experienced educators, engage and socialize with members of our community through new learning experiences. Online instruction supplements our already robust curriculum and allows students to pursue their passions and interests. We encourage students to take online courses in situations when King does not offer a core course with in-person instruction or as an elective when skill competences and course load requirement are met. Students who choose to enroll in online classes must also carry a minimum of five major courses.
