Meet the Faculty
Faculty members at King are talented, committed, knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate about their work. Over 87% of Faculty hold advanced degrees. They understand that in order to be the strongest, most effective educators, they must be lifelong learners, and they know that the two are intimately linked. King's ongoing Professional Growth and Development (PG&D) program ensures Faculty remain at the forefront of education practice. The level of advanced degrees and of PG&D support are among the highest of our peer schools.

Faculty in Action
Ms. Pacey discusses the 'Readers and Writers Workshops' in Grade 5. These Workshops are daily instructional vehicles where students independently write and read, as well as work with their teachers in a small group or during individual conferences. Independence in literary skills is the goal, as well as to foster a sense of accomplishment and personal achievement.
Patrick O’Neill, History Faculty and Grade 9 Dean, invites the King Community at the annual State of the School event to share his passion and excitement from his summer sabbatical studying the role of art in politics.
