King Appoints New Director of Development
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lauren C. Fredette as King's incoming Director of Development. Lauren will formally take office on July 1, but will be involved in some transitional activities prior to that date. As Director of Development, Lauren will lead our efforts connected to fundraising, alumni affairs, and many of our institutional events. She will work closely with the administration, the Parents' Association, and the Board in these efforts, and she will manage the office that oversees all of these activities.

Lauren is a seasoned and experienced development professional. Her extensive background includes service as Director of Advancement at Bishop Fenwick High School in Massachusetts, and Vice President for Development for Special Olympics Massachusetts. For the past four years, Lauren has served as a partner in the consulting firm of Partners in Mission, where she provides her expert guidance on development for a caseload of about ten schools. The range of schools she has worked with and topics she has worked on provide her with a variety and depth of experiences that will serve King particularly well. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class. Lauren is a Greenwich resident who is enthusiastically and energetically looking forward to joining our community.

Lauren is replacing Ben Hoke, who will move on after four years at King. Ben has accepted a position as Director of Advancement at the Waterford School in Utah. We thank Ben for his contributions to our school, and wish him luck and good fortune as he continues his career out west!
