On Tuesday, April 18, the King Parents' Association Health & Sustainable Living Committee hosted Jennifer Marlon, Ph.D, a research scientist at the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication who presented her research "Change in the American Mind: Communication Opportunities and Challenges." Parents, students, faculty and staff attended the event and engaged in thoughtful conversations and dialogue on climate change.

On Monday, April 17, nine Seniors and nine Juniors joined the prestigious Cum Laude Society during the annual induction ceremony in the PAC theater. "They are students for whom the pursuit of learning for its own sake is its own reward. They are students who accept new challenges with zeal and who work diligently to realize their goals. They are self-disciplined, have a powerful work ethic honed over the years that allows them to tackle each new project, and maintain a consistently high level of achievement."
King's National Economics Challenge team is strong and composed of students who have an independent interest in economics and finance. Alex, Ari, Michael, and Max are strong students, are well motivated, and are excited to be in the competition.
